Tivetshall Village Hall is a registered charity No:904093 and is registered with South Norfolk District Council to operate a Small Society Lottery for the purpose of raising funds to support community events, village charities and projects. 

​

The Village Hall Community Lottery is open to anyone over the age of 16 who lives in or has links with the villages of Tivetshall St Mary and St Margaret. 

​

Tickets numbered 1 to 100 will be sold at a price of £12 per ticket and will be entered into 12 monthly draws. 

​

Each monthly draw will be for a 1st prize of £40 and 2nd prize of £10.

​

The Village Hall Trustees will hold records of tickets and participants electronically and in physical form.   

​

Virtual tickets will be sent to participants by email or text message, once they have been paid for.  Physical tickets can be provided upon request. 

​

Participants can buy more than one ticket if desired.  All tickets are sold at the same price. 

​​

Tickets and prizes are not transferable. 

​

Persons are required to pay for their tickets 24hrs  after there number request. If payment is not recieved  within 24hrs the number or numbers will be put back on sale again.

​

Draws will take place monthly on the second Wednesday of the month, ordinarily these will take place before the Parish Council meeting, which is open to the general public. 

​

On months that there is no planned PC meeting The Village Hall will convene a meeting to hold the draw. 

​

The prizes will be allocated by a process which relies wholly on chance.  A random number generator will be used. 

​​

In the event that the same number is selected as the 1st prize winner more than twice in the year, then the number drawn as 2nd prize will become the 1st prize winner and another 2nd prize winner will be drawn.

​

Results will be published on the Village hall and TFAF Facebook groups, the Village hall website and in Cock Crow. 

​

Winners will be notified and prize money will be available for collection the day after the draw. 

​

All records will be held and retained in accordance with Data Protection principles and to ensure compliance with SNDC licence.
